Faith Christian School and Community Unite to Fight Hunger – December 11 Recap
On December 11, Faith Christian School partnered with Children’s World Impact and Kids Around the World for a powerful day of service and community impact. Families, friends, and volunteers came together to make a difference in the fight against hunger.
Event Highlights:
- Volunteer Turnout: Over 200 volunteers participated across two public shifts at 4:30 PM and 6:00 PM, with a shared goal of packing 100,000 meals to nourish those in need.
- Faith Christian School Involvement: Earlier in the day, Faith Christian School students set the tone for service with a special focus on mentorship and teamwork.
- Seniors Supporting Elementary Students: High school seniors paired with elementary students, guiding them through the process of measuring and packing meals. The love, patience, and encouragement shown by the seniors created a heartwarming atmosphere, fostering connections across age groups and embodying our school’s core values of Love, Learn, and Lead.
- Secondary Student Session: After mentoring the younger students, the secondary students stepped into their own leadership roles, tackling their own packing session with enthusiasm and dedication.
For those unable to attend, it’s not too late to participate. 100% of all donations go directly toward funding the meals packed during this impactful even you can donate at https://www.cwi.org/donate/
This day was a beautiful example of our community working together in service and love. Thank you to everyone who played a part in making it a success!
