MEET THE FCS VOLLEYBALL COACHES
Varsity Head Coach
Coach Kristin Hodges started coaching here at FCS in the fall of 2017, however she has been coaching since 2008. She was a 3 year Varsity player in high school and she played 2 years at Judson University. She graduated from Judson in 2013 with a Sports Administration degree, was our former Athletic Director, and is currently teaching Math with us at Faith. Coach Hodges is passionate about how young athletes can grow into great kingdom builders through the things they learn by playing sports.
Junior Varsity Head Coach
Coach Abigail Kooiman previously taught English at Faith Christian School English for about seven years, and in 2009, she graduated from FCS after attending the school since Kindergarten. Needless to say, for Abigail, this school has been a wonderful place of learning and growth as an athlete, student, and follower of Christ. She’s coached Varsity softball for a few years and has been involved as a volleyball coach for most of the past seven years. Right now, she is a stay at home mom with her twin boys, she spends time in ministry with her husband who pastors a local church, and gets her fix of FCS volleyball by coaching JV! Abigail says she loves coaching because it’s a privilege to be a part of this school and to hang out with such awesome students.
